The crime was committed on March 27, 2019 in Boston, where the family lived. According to the media, on a fateful day, the man got into a fight with his partner Aliona, who went down to the first floor of the house for a few minutes.

In the roughly five minutes that the defendant spent with the twins, he shook one of them and killed him and the other seriously injured him. The surviving baby was left with a disability for life.

At Lincoln Crown Court, it was announced that the murdered child Martynas Bugaila had suffered bodily injuries as serious as the crash of a speeding motorcycle.

“After about five minutes, H. Bugaila started yelling that ‘come here soon, something is wrong’. Aliona ran up the stairs to the second floor of the house and looked at the crib. Martin was lying on his back, but he was overwhelmed by the paper. His eyes were closed and the baby was no longer breathing.

The mother learned to give first aid to the babies in the hospital and began to resuscitate him. According to her, Martin began to turn blue. The defendant himself called the doctors, but could not fully explain what had happened and the call was not easy due to the man’s lack of English.

The mother called a taxi and rushed to the hospital with the babies.

Martin’s internal organs began to stop working instantly or just seconds after a severe shaking. April 2 his life in the hospital was ruined.

Post-mortem examination showed that his brain was severely shocked. The baby was found to have previously suffered bodily injury, not an isolated violent attack.

Of course, the man denied these allegations. He claimed that he had never done anything wrong to babies. However, such serious and fatal injuries do not happen automatically, “said prosecutor John Hankin.

The court held that the minor could have suffered bodily injury as of February 5 of that year. until March 15. It was also added that the Lithuanian repeatedly threatened his beloved that if he continued to speak disrespectfully to him or behaved differently as he wanted, he would yell at the children.

On his social network account on January 8, 2019, the Lithuanian was happy to finally become the father of twins. Unfortunately, as the prosecutor emphasized, the man who was to provide them with safety and care took his own life.
