The broadcaster adheres to rules based on the principle of good faith, which oblige employees to be vaccinated but does not require proof of vaccination. However, Mr. Zucker indicated that this could be changed.
According to J. Zucker, vaccination is mandatory for all personnel covering events, all employees, as well as for everyone who enters the offices.

In a letter to employees, Zucker wrote that CNN would likely postpone until October 7 the planned return of all company employees to the offices.
According to him, about a third of the station’s news service staff currently work at CNN’s offices.
