Flights to Minsk will be operated from Basra (population 1,327 million), Suleimania (population 677,000) and Arbil (population 846,000).

According to border guards, a large part of those detained seek to enter Western European countries through Lithuania.
Lithuania has declared an emergency situation due to the increase in illegal immigration. The country’s officials take the position that the increase in migratory flows is an organized action of the Minsk regime against Lithuania.
