In the third half, he kept the Lithuanian initiative in his hands and, after Gabrielė Sederevičiūtė deliberately shot from under the basket, he moved away from his Hungarian teammates to a record limit of 9 points (52:43). Before the decisive quarter, the teams obtained 6 points (54:48).
The last 10 minutes of the match started positively for the Lithuanian girls (56:48). However, the Hungarians, taking advantage of Lithuania’s unsportsmanlike foul, missed shots and errors, maintained a 13: 4 streak and rebalanced the result (60:61). 120 seconds before the end of the match, the eighteen-year-old Lithuanian had a 2-point lead (68:66), which increased to 5 points (73:68) after several attacks. Although the Hungarians scored a triple, this did not take away the victory from the Lithuanians – 75:71.
Yesterday (July 29), the eighteen-year-old Lithuanians beat their teammates from Turkey by 71:65. As a result, 58:52 landed for the Serbs and they confidently beat the air on the first day of the tournament (July 27) (86:47).

The FIBA Challenger tournament, which has become an unofficial European championship this year, replaces the official priorities of the Old Continent not organized due to the coronavirus. 28 teams compete in tournaments in five different cities.
Lithuanian basketball players compete in Klatov (Czech Republic), the tournament also takes place in Andorra (Andorra), Heraklion (Greece), Riga (Latvia) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
