Today, the facts are clear: people who are vaccinated reduce the risk of developing coronavirus in several ways, especially the Delta strain. Their chances of getting to the hospital are decreasing and the chances of death can drastically decrease, ”said G. Nausėda.
The president called for less confidence in social media theories.
“Let’s listen to our scientists, specialists and get vaccinated,” the president emphasized.
G.Nausėda said that today in Lithuania we have all the possibilities to get vaccinated: we have all kinds of vaccines, many mobile points.
“So you can easily find one in your immediate environment. And, of course, listen to those who have already been vaccinated. If they have been vaccinated, they will give you all the information as to why they did it.
I can say one simple thing: I was vaccinated, my wife Diana, my two daughters. And it was during my last meeting with my father that he asked me when he could get vaccinated for the third time, because his second vaccination was done half a year ago, ”said G. Nausėda.
“He is a very communicative person and this is how he wants to reduce his risk of getting sick. And, as you well know, for a person who is almost 92 years old, any contact with a sick person can be fatal, “said the President.
The head of state again called the population to get vaccinated. “Let us seize the opportunity to solve this problem in Lithuania and live a healthy life,” said the president.
