In just over two hours, some 160 people were vaccinated in Revival Square. Most opted for a single dose of the Janssen vaccine. Those who wanted vaccines from Pfizer and AstraZeneca had to wait for a sufficient number of people to want to be vaccinated: 6 people, because there are many doses of the vaccine in the vial.

“Above all, we hear that those who plan to travel somewhere and those who need a job because they don’t want to get tested get vaccinated. All people are in good faith. Younger and middle-aged people are coming, ”Jadvyga Kateivienė, vaccination coordinator at Klaipėda City Polyclinic, who oversaw the process in Atgimimo Square, told the Western Express.

Klaipėda’s mobile vaccination teams are working in Atgimimo Square and on the detour to the parking lot near the Cruise Terminal, on the sculpture “Four Winds”. Vaccination sites are also marked with information booths.

On Sunday, the vaccination teams will be open from 10 am to 2 pm or until the vaccination runs out.

It is enough to have an identity document to get vaccinated.
