According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belarus was informed of the plans to reimburse the consular fee and did not oppose it, only wishing that the fee to process national visa applications be introduced after the entry into force of the facilitation agreement of visa with the European Union. This Agreement will enter into force on July 1.

Belarus is currently included in the list of countries most affected by the coronavirus, and foreigners can come to Lithuania from there only in exceptional cases with the necessary 14-day isolation.
