2018 was a particularly successful year for the artist. He was awarded a record number of MAMA awards. Daddy Was A Milkman earned four nominations: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Concert Artist of the Year, and Pop Artist of the Year. During the ceremony, Ignas Pociūnas received the most important title: the MAMA commission selected him as the “Artist of the year”.
