Rytis Rogačius, the market manager for the Treatwell platform, where you can sign up for beauty services in Lithuania, says that “the prices have really gone up when you go back to work.”

“The change is noticeable in many services. Prices for hair or nail services have risen 20 percent in some places. It is to be expected such a number, because after a harsh and incapacitated quarantine, everyone must stand up, “he says.

According to J.Mačiulienė, the increase in prices for beauty services is influenced by many factors.

“Prices probably have not risen specifically. Today everything has changed: the logistics of the tools themselves are already a little different, the prices are different. The suppliers themselves say that it is very difficult for them to bring goods, more expensive fuel, many things that compensate for the increase in prices ”, he explains.

J.Mačiulienė also warns that prices for beauty services will continue to rise due to higher prices for both gas and electricity.

Meanwhile, the financial analyst and vice president of the Confederation of Companies Marius Dubnikov argues that the prices of beauty services tend to rise, especially the cheapest ones.

“If we pay 40 or 50 euros for a haircut, sometimes the price will not really go up, but those haircuts that are 4-5 euros will go up,” he said.
