Sociologist: This happened for the first time in Šimonytė’s political career.

“The reasons are several, and one of the main ones, of course, is that the voters have not yet managed to show that they know what they are doing, that they have a strategy, a vision, a plan, because the plan, as we have seen it. It did not go well, because the conservatives did not notice it either, I mean the plan of struggle. Unfortunately, another aspect is also very important, which is the lack of vision of social policy.

There were episodes that overshadowed everything, they only took up most of the air, I mean the Istanbul Convention, an association that is not really relevant to a large number of people, of course it is important in terms of value and those topics should be. But there had to be some strategy to unite all the people so that the people understand what that Government will do, if it will fight against poverty, the exclusion that we lead in Europe, but there are no such things at all.

According to him, Prime Minister I. Šimonyte found it difficult to control his ministers.
