For the first time in the country’s history, the Lithuanian women’s 3×3 team won a place in the 3×3 European Championship to be held in Paris in September.

The Lithuanian group achieved a victory of two. In the second match our 17:12 beat the Latvian team and took second place. The Latvians remained in third position and did not advance to the next stage.
Kamilė Nacickaitė scored 8 points, Gabrielė Šulskė added 4 points, Laura Želnytė – 3 points, Santa Baltkojienė – 2 points.
The Lithuanians fell behind 4: 8, but the rivals took the lead, decisively took the initiative and celebrated the victory.
In the first group match, the Lithuanians were hopeless against the Ukrainian basketball players at 6:19.
Our team already took a cold shower at the beginning of the match, when the Ukrainians gained an initial lead of 6 points (7: 1). After such a poor start, the Lithuanians were unable to recover and suffered a defeat by 13 points (6:19).
Santa Baltkojienė, who scored 3 points, was the most productive among the Lithuanians, 2 plus Kamilė Nacickaitė, 1 – Laura Želnytė. Gabrielė Šulskė did not notice.
