Red Bull driver Max Verstappen achieved the best result in the Austrian F-1 classification and will start the Styrian GP race from pole position. The Netherlands left behind Mercedes spokesman Valtter Bott, who will have to start from second position instead of second.

Verstappen recorded his best result in the latter part of the races on the first attempt. Later, the Dutchman still tried to improve his score, but he drove slower. However, the previously recorded result was enough to win pole.

The fastest among the Mercedes drivers this time was V. Bottas, who recorded the second result. But with the penalty of three starting positions, the Finns will have to start from fifth position, while their teammate Lewis Hamilton, who registered the third result, will start the race tomorrow second.

The second row starting positions will be shared by McLaren representative Lando Norris and Red Bull team second driver Sergio Pérez.

The sixth result in the latter part of qualifying was recorded by AlphaTauri driver Pierre Gasly, who edged out Ferrari representative Charles Leclerc and his teammate Yuki Tsunoda.

In the final part of the races, the two slowest athletes were Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, who registered ninth and tenth results respectively.

Williams’ running back George Russell did not make the final classification. The British had risen to 10th place at some point, but were later pushed to 11th. Russell was only eight thousandths of a second to go before reaching the final stage.
