The Athletic’s Shams Charania announces that Brooklyn Nets star James Harden will join Gregg Popovich and teammate Kevin Durant.
It is added that another member of the Nets troika, Kyrie Irving, will likely miss the Olympics as he is being treated for an ankle injury.
Harden had 24.6 points, 8.5 grabs and 10.9 assists this season.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Miami Heat boss Bamas Adebayo will also help his country in the Olympics.
Adebayo, who appeared in the All-Star Game last year, posted stats of 18.7 points, 9 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season.
Durant, Damian Lillard, Draymond Green, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will also wear the USA international jersey in the summer.
