The men of Šakiai “Vytis-Gulbelė” triumphed in them, in the fierce final after the last launch of Aurelijus Pukelis 20:19 after defeating Marijampolė’s team “Sūduva-Mantinga”.

The “ELITO” group competition of the Lithuanian 3 × 3 basketball championship SAVY.LT also ended on Saturday. Team AUCH also won the ticket to the FIBA Challenger Series tournament in Cergy-Pontoise, France, from July 10-11.

In group A of the final stage of the PRO, which took place all Sunday, the Šakiai team beat Sūduva-Mantinga and the Lithuanian youth team (U21). Marijampolė’s team was stronger in the latter’s duel, grabbing a ticket to the quarterfinals.
In group B, Telšiai took the lead, defeating GEALAN from Trakai and throwing the Antwerp team on their shoulders with a decisive shot (20:19), on the basis of which the Belgian team will compete in the Tokyo Olympics. However, the victory over the Trakians paved the way for the Belgians to the playoffs.
The Group C competitions were won by basketball players from Vytautas Magnus University, who left behind their hosts: Klaipėda “Neptūnas” and Kėdainiai “Nevėžis-Optibet”. In the clash between LKL teams, this guaranteed a place in the quarterfinals for the Klaipėda residents who celebrated the victory.
In Group D, the U23-VMU team that lost both games lagged behind the playoffs. In the match for the first place of the group, in a highly changing match marked by the abundance of seats, Tauras defeated AUCH at 21:20.
In the quarterfinals, the forks easily faced “Neptune”, the Taurus men knocked down the Belgian guests after a tenacious fight at 20:18, Telšiai dramatically broke the AUCH champions after 21 : 20 after the extension, and the Marijampolė team eliminated the VMU basketball players.
Vytis-Gulbelė (21:16), who won the semifinal against Taura in the classic duel, enjoyed the first ticket to the final, the second Marijampolė, who defeated Telšiai in a fruitless and nervous match (16:14), was the second to enter the final.
In the grand final of the championship, the Šakiai team initially created an advantage, but then dispersed it, but at the end of the match they played more in cold blood and finally reached the goal that they had spent two months on – became the first winners of the championship.
