Ferries to Smiltyne run regardless of schedule: if they run normally, tourists will be in traffic from the morning.

Employees observing the situation say that the traffic jams on the Klaipėda side start on Saturday morning and last until noon. In the afternoon, many more want to return. And in the second half of Sunday, almost every summer weekend, there are already queues of kilometers on the side of the municipality of Neringa.

Darius Undžys, director of sales and customer service at Smiltyn directors Perkėla AB, says that we take people to rest on four ferries.

“3 ferries run on the New Ferry (Nemuno St. 8, lifts cars and passengers) and one ferry runs on Old Ferry (Danės St. 1, only carries passengers).
