According to the lrytas.lt portal, the former “peasant” assures that he has not seen a place in the party, which is dominated not by debate but by the dictatorship.
“I got out of there and I am very happy. The party leader’s desire is not to argue but to dictate. This is not acceptable to me. I can honestly say: I am very sorry to have been there so long, ”V.Vingrienė told the lrytas.lt portal about his resignation from LVŽS.
He said that he ultimately lacked representation of the green ideology in the party.
“I believed in the possibility of making the green idea a reality, our electoral program and that of the party was with green challenges, sustainability, etc. But this was not supported. Our opinion as Greens is not critical there, which could outweigh something. This is a party with a more conservative ideology, “explained V. Vingrienė.
After last year’s unsuccessful Seimas elections, V. Vingrienė recently got a job at the Ministry of the Environment and says he still has no plans to join other parties.
