According to the leader of the LVŽS, such behavior by T. Tomilinas was incomprehensible in the party.
“He acted quite clearly as a non-member of LVŽS. Today we have not discussed the issue of his membership, because we believe that it is not a necessary measure, but a party member who is also in the leadership of the party should be responsible for his behavior” said R. Karbauskis.
At the same time, he apologized to the party’s voters.
“I apologize to the voters, to those people who have voted for LVSS, who support it, what happened to us, that one of the members of the party leadership did not behave at all in the way he declared during the election campaign , “Noted R. Karbauskis.
He assured that it is normal to have different opinions in the “peasant” party.
“We have people who have an opinion like T. Tomilinas, but they do not attack her in public, in the Seimas sessions and in all the media. As a result, listeners begin to look like T. Tomilin represents the party. It does not represent anything without itself ”, emphasized R. Karbauskis.
Tomilin to retire from other positions: it hurts, but it motivates him even more
Tomilin himself, for his part, said that he respected the party’s decision but did not agree with it.
“I value democracy much more than positions or positions. When you express a different opinion, when you block the weakest, when you do not like the majority, it is painful, difficult, but it motivates you even more to defend. It means that if there are such drastic solutions, I’m dangerous and some people don’t like it very much, ”said T. Tomilinas.
He stated his position on the association before the elections. The party recommended that T. Tomilin resign from the position of vice president of the faction and vice president of the LVŽS.

At the party council meeting, it was also decided to modify the party statutes so that the LVŽS president could nominate his deputies.
“Here are the suggestions made by our lawyer. Regarding the deputies, in all Lithuanian parties (…) the president proposes his deputies,” explained R. Karbauskis.
He did not hide that the situation was motivated by the situation of T. Tomilino.
“Now we had a situation where there was a man on the team who was not nominated by me at the convention, he was elected, and he was acting against the will of the party. The work with him was inefficient or unproductive ”, argued the president of LVŽS.
