Inspection officials visited the site and discovered that the Range Rover SUV had entered Lake Antavilis. The car was not damaged, fuel, oil or other contaminants did not enter the lake or shore.

Police officers also wrote a report to the person for violating traffic rules. The driver (born 1998) told authorities that he probably forgot to apply the parking brake or something went wrong. He only realized his SUV was drowning when he heard the alarm.
