Announces what awaits owners of unused, abandoned and maintenance-free parcels of land: Pockets will be emptied

“Every year, city dwellers come to our aid, providing information on unsupervised plots. We hope that also this year the neighbors are not only active, but also, without being encouraged, properly dispose of the plots that belong to them. After identifying the parcels in disuse, abandoned or their parts, the specialists of the Department of Law and Public Order will draw up a preliminary list, the owners (administrators, users) will be notified about it on the website of the Municipality www.panevezys.lt, in the press and, if possible, in person by email or post. Information until August 1. It will be published on www.panevezys.lt. Please note: if it is not possible to inform the owners (administrators or users) by post / email. Notice will be deemed to have been received from the date of publication of the information on www.panevezys.lt.

Owners (administrators / users) of the sites included in the preliminary list until August 1. may present documents to the Municipality that the plot is in order and no longer meets the following criteria:

– the plot of land is abandoned (covered with grass over 20 cm (± 5 cm), covered with low-value bushes and not cut until 1 July);

– the land is not used, is not arranged in such a way that it is suitable for the main purpose of land use or is not maintained at all, garbage or waste accumulates;

– construction materials and / or pollutants, construction waste or objects (obviously untidy, non-conforming vehicles, their parts, disused construction wagons, etc.) are stored irregularly on the ground (except in adapted and protected places );

– the plot of land is not maintained in accordance with the rules of urban management and cleanliness.

By 2020 of around 160 registered unattended and unused parcels, 24 owners did not respond to repair calls. They were set at 4%. land tax increase.
