It turned out that the final would be opened by the representative of Cyprus Elena Tsagrinou, and the honor of closing the competition program went to the singer from San Marino Senhit. The representatives of Lithuania “The Roop” turned out to be eighteen years old.

Italy won the Eurovision Song Contest. The Lithuanians remained in eighth place.

This Eurovision semi-final is marked by a coronavirus: this week it was scheduled for a member of the Icelandic group Daði & Gagnamagnið. The group was unable to attend the semi-finals live, so a recording of their performance at the semi-final dress rehearsal was broadcast.

The day before yesterday, COVID-19 was also set for 2019 contest winner Duncan Laurenc, who was due to appear in the final on Saturday. It will do it remotely.

It has been decided that this year’s Eurovision will take place with spectators watching the performances in the arena. Each of the Eurovision events – rehearsals open to the public, two semi-finals, one final – takes place with a maximum of 3,500 spectators. Priority tickets are available to viewers who have had tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest, which was canceled last year due to a coronavirus pandemic. All spectators attending the competition must comply with strict security requirements.
