The court that heard the criminal case determined that S. Zakarka’s responsibility was facilitated by his confession and remorse, but aggravated by the fact that he had committed the crime as a repeat offender, he had been convicted eleven times before.

The judge decided to extend the prison sentence: he will be released after 4 years and 3 months.
The Zakarkos brothers are serving prison sentences for fraud. In June, the Panevėžys court announced that they and their mother had deceived eighteen people. They were all convicted.
According to the case, family members announced on Internet portals the sale of telephones or computers, fraudulently attracting between 140 and 470 euros. They also used other people’s bank accounts, payment cards to transfer and withdraw money.
