For several years, the Immunodiagnostikos company has focused on the development of diagnostic systems for the diagnosis of allergies. This has been the case so far, it will continue to be the case, but now a new area of ​​activity of this one of the most unique centers in Lithuania, the diagnosis of Covid-19 antibodies, continues to contribute.

Due to the increased workload, the investigation that is finding a void here and the jump to the area dictated by the coronavirus pandemic, the company has not started to move, so new facilities are being installed right here in the old stock.

“You came too early,” laughs G. Gylys. – In a month everything will be fully functional here, there will be new equipment available. The new labs will smoke and produce. “

The smoke, as we understand it, will smoke figuratively. In sterile rooms, tests will be carried out on a much larger scale, antibody tests will be carried out, and conclusions will be written. 800 thousand were invested in these premises and equipment. euros.

It is true that the biotech company that provides science, research and even allergy treatment services will remain here until the construction of the new Vilnius Innovation Industrial Park is completed and will be among other high value added companies.

“But it will take more than a year, and we need new facilities now,” say about 2.2 million. an entrepreneur who intends to invest in a future company. About 50 new jobs are expected to be created there.
