According to him, the company “Saugos paslaugos”, which has provided these services so far, also participated in the security tender, but once the tender was completed, its tender came in third place. The winner of the contest was the “Office of Commissioners”, with whom a contract will be signed in the near future. Lithuanian Railways did not disclose its values.
According to T. Digaitis, all the dismissed employees will receive the benefits that correspond to them, in addition, the Special Tax Commission is discussing the possibility of taking over the employees of the Security Services.
Saugos paslaugos is a security services company, whose sole shareholder is Lietuvos Geležinkeliai. The company was established in June 2019 through the reorganization of the “Gelsaugas” company.
The company offers security, maintenance and repair services: fire extinguishing systems, fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, installation and maintenance of security alarm systems. Most of them are provided to the companies of the Lithuanian Railway Group.
