He stressed that when the Vice Minister cannot work, she goes on leave without pay, so she is not paid for those days.
“I want the people on the team to be professional, competent and experienced in their field. Without a doubt, the deputy minister has the support of organizations of people with disabilities. I can say that that period and that decision to join your team is already very productive: we were lucky to get to issues that hadn’t been moved for quite some time, ”said M. Navickienė.
According to her, while working, J. Jakštienė managed to shorten the deadline for determining social needs, increased the share of compensatory expenses, made it easier for the disabled to adapt their home and developed the service of a personal assistant.
“Currently, although working remotely, the Vice Minister oversees the review of social enterprises and in mid-June we will have a public consultation on how the transition of people with disabilities to social enterprises closed in the labor market will be carried out”, he said the minister.
“The vice minister has a lot of experience and competence in this place, and I am sure that with her help we will be able to present a vision of what the change will be like in the field of social enterprise transformation as early as June,” he said. saying.
Ms. Navickienė said that all members of her team have the same requirements and are mainly related to the results of their work.

J. Jakštienė, Deputy Minister of Social Security and Labor, took office at the end of February and oversees the issues of social integration of the disabled.
Before joining the Deputy Minister, J. Jakštienė headed the Social Security Infrastructure Projects Division and Strategic Planning Group at the Central Agency for Project Management, and worked at the Vilnius City Municipal Administration.
