In the criminal case before the Šiauliai Regional Court, in which a child who has not yet reached the age of majority is accused of sexual abuse of a minor, the questioning of witnesses continues. The defendants also testified in court. The guy doesn’t deny guilt. A break was declared in the case.
A guy who is not yet an adult and has not been convicted before does not deny guilt.
According to the case data, the crime was committed in the period from early October 2017 to February 2020 in a city in western Lithuania. A minor residing in that city, taking advantage of the defenseless condition of a neighbor’s daughter for being a minority, used physical violence to orally satisfy his sexual passion. The number of times this occurred was not determined during the pre-trial investigation. Everything happened in the victim’s apartment. Sexual abuse was used against the victim for several years, but the girl kept silent because she was threatened not to say anything to anyone.
The victim was also sexually abused in the wild, near her own home. As the victim herself later said, the guy had threatened not to tell anyone about her rape, and if she spoke up, her good would not end and she would be raped once and for all. For the first time, the girl may have been raped when she was only 11 years old.
The victim herself called the child support institution and told them about the abuse.
This story came to light when the victim, who was no longer abused by the abuse, called the child support institution herself and recounted the facts.
At trial, the defendant pleaded guilty and recounted the circumstances of the incident. The guy was not convicted before. The case is known in private. The questioning of witnesses is expected to continue at the next scheduled court hearing.
