Although in the last quarter it seemed that Šiauliai (12/23) is close to victory, even two extra time were necessary and in the match of the Lithuanian Basketball League (Betsafe-LKL) Klaipėda Neptūnas (14/22) broke his rivals in his sand – 107: 106 (17:22, 24:14, 19:19, 18:23, 9: 9, 20:19).

Lukukais added three fines, there were 2 minutes left. Simas Galdikas added a fine, two more: M.Mažeika, and M.Jogėla shot a triple, which almost confirmed the victory of “Neptūnas”.
Andy Van Vliet took a long shot, 16 seconds from time, and despite E. Friedrichsson’s long shot, Neptūnas saved the victory with a free kick.
E. Friedrichsson reached the Betsafe-LKL record for successful passes this season, making 17. At the time of the all-time record, only 1 successful pass remained.
