The eurohoops.net website reports that after four days of negotiations between the two sides, positive momentum is visible, but a decision on the contract’s extension has yet to be made.
Turkish journalist Ismael Senol reports that the main problem now is about existing contracts and the players that Fenerbahche will be able to keep.
Obradovic’s goal is to train a team that can fight for the Euroleague title, and if the Serbian decides to retire, no club is supposed to train for next season.
Obradovic, 60, who has been in contact with Fenerbahce leaders since Tuesday, will return to Serbia on Friday.
The strategist, named the best European coach, has been at the forefront of Fenerbahche since 2013.
