What happened the night of a 54-year-old citizen on the night of September 21 last year shocked even officials who saw a lot: the man was extremely brutally murdered, hit several dozen, and the exit was injured.

When the seriously injured man lost consciousness, the absorbents having fun in a strange house decided to make fun of him even more: he hit his head on a frying pan until he was deformed from the blows, and then poured his urine on his face, waiting that he would recover.

And the condition of the seriously injured man only got worse: the ambulance was called not by the villagers who organized the execution, but by the employees of the nursing home, who learned of the bloody drinks that had taken place at night.

“And they walked through the town and boasted of having hit their head with a frying pan,” Girkalnis’s neighbors revealed the difficult-to-understand reality.

At around 12 noon, the ambulance medics received notification that a severely beaten man needed urgent medical attention. – A sloth submerged in a coma was immediately transferred to the Kaunas clinics due to various injuries. He received help here, but could not save his life; three days later, the victim died. According to doctors, the man was so seriously injured that probably no one would survive such injuries.

And only then did two suspects, a 16-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, enter police custody. They are both residents of Girkalnis. Prosecutors who initiated the pre-trial investigation charged them with extremely cruel premeditated murder to express hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.

Prosecutors, who carried out a pre-trial investigation and transferred the criminal case to the Šiauliai Regional Court, claim that the two defendants, being intoxicated with alcohol and drugs, intentionally used physical violence against the victim in joint actions during the conflict. for alcohol consumption with the housewife.

As medical experts later discovered, the man received at least 30 blows, of which at least 8 to the head, 10 to the chest and abdomen, and 12 to other parts of the body.

“The victim was hit with his fists, a pot, a chair and a frying pan on the victim’s head, which was deformed after several blows,” said Vytautas Jončas, representative of the Šiauliai Regional Court.

During questioning, both defendants admitted that they had been violent against the victim, but did not provide arguments why they had done it, as if they were angry about alcohol, as if they did not like that the victim was a man of bad nature . -traditional orientation.

During questioning, the defendant Edgar D., 32, admitted that the victim’s house had been drunk since night and that the execution, if you remember correctly, took place around 3 in the afternoon. night at 10 pm in the morning. When the alcohol spun on the men’s heads, they began to beat the owner of the house, and when he no longer showed signs of life, Edgar D. soaked himself in a container and poured urine on the victim’s head. And yes, more than once.

According to Edgar D., the entire town knew that the victim was a man of non-traditional orientation, so the sixteen-year-old still decided to make fun of him: taking a stick injured the owner’s anus.

“I don’t remember much because I was very drunk,” said the defendant.

The minor did not remember much, but explained that his absorber was also violent against the owner of the house. Why, the teenager could not explain convincingly.

There is also evidence in the case that an attempt was made to set the victim on fire.

“Apparently we are confused,” said one of the defendants. Both denied having used drugs, but did not deny the circumstances of the event, but it was not possible to clearly indicate the chronology of the actions, the details of the crime, because they did not remember the amount of alcohol consumed.

After the execution, the image in the house was terrible, but his policemen did not see it: the victim had allowed another man to live in his house, who in the morning washed the blood from the floor and walls of the house, threw navels empty. beer, and destroyed other important evidence out of fear.

“Of course, there were rumors that guys would come to him when he needed money, but now we can talk a lot,” he said. He added that the shelter in the man’s home was found by anyone who wanted to drink alcohol.

Girkalnis residents could not say anything bad about Edgar D., who was charged with intentional murder: that the man was calm, but abused alcohol, although he repeatedly tried to treat this addiction.

“But if they invited him to drink, he would always go, he says this time it was the same – the sixteen-year-old offered him a drink, he said, come on, there will be plenty of beer,” said the villagers. “It was a surprise to many that he could have killed a neighbor,” it is clear that the man did not arrive at the place or on time.

The fact that the men accused of murder were able to consume not only alcohol but also drugs that night was also a surprise to many.

At the time, the 16-year-old accused of intentional murder was Girkalnis’ true worst horror: the teenager had been wreaking havoc in the city for several years, had committed many robberies, but as a minor, he could not be prosecuted. Therefore, the mother only had to pay a fine of several euros.

“We raised him like this ourselves, he went unpunished and he became what he wanted to be,” Girkalnis’s neighbors revealed the sad reality.
