Surprising Bayern Munich came close to another Euroleague upset, but fell long before the start of the playoffs in the AX Armani area of Milan.

James Gist then fouled Delaney, but he missed both free throws and Rodriguez’s 3-pointer changed the situation. Paul Zipser then lost from distance, but W. Waldwin fouled and did not make an error from the penalty line – 76:77. The German club defended and J. Gistas caused a 1.2-second foul. This time the tall man was right and aimed both times.
