“I’ll heat the tiles and take a bath, wash my head myself. My family doesn’t know what to do, “says another senior.

“I bought a device that is built specifically for heating, it has electricity connected and I no longer know what it will be like. We will go and harden ourselves, we will swim in the lake, we will go to the sauna in the gardens of our neighbors,” says the resident of Elektrėnai.

“We will do something, we will go to the lake. Hot, the power plant is still working. And what else to do?”

“I can’t imagine going to take a bath with my daughter. Very bad. And much longer … Until July,” the electrician resents.

“We bought an instant heater and we will live,” adds another.

“I do not know how we will turn, maybe we will build a boiler, otherwise it will not come out in any way,” says the elderly neighbor.

Some of the Elektrėni residents say they will survive the inconvenience so there are no accidents later.

“I have the mother of a husband who lives in Kaišiadorys, where there is no hot water for 2-3 months in the summer. And they accept it as something natural,” says the passerby.

“And what are you going to do? Sooner or later, those pipes must be replaced,” says the young electrician.

“We will warm ourselves in the kettle to take a shower. The families are not so big that 10-15 children have to wash themselves. It is definitely not a problem. We just have to be glad it didn’t explode anywhere and there was no shortage.” says the woman.

While in quarantine, wash your loved ones or in calls from cabins and local authorities. There will also be two showers in the gym.

“So many residents will not be able to fit in two showers. There is nothing new here, there have been such renovations before. The residents used other houses that they had, with the help of relatives, they went to wash them,” says Gediminas Ratkevičius, Director of the Administration of Elektrėnai.

In addition to hot water, there is a school, two kindergartens. The municipality will provide them with water heaters. Without hot water, the municipality will not leave.

“I will also buy another water heater, but we are not planning large investments,” says G. Ratkevičius.

The hospital could turn on the heaters even today, everything is ready. For some companies, the boiler is provided by the heat supplier, and he also considered installing a temporary route.

“Unfortunately, there are private land, electric cables, water supply, sewerage. Unfortunately, the heat pipe cannot go up and down, ”says Elektrėnai Utility General. the director Ričardas Leckas.

The director of the company assures that now residents who are experiencing problems will save money later by paying for hot water.
