The basketball player’s 10-day short-term contract with the club has expired and ESPN says Pelicans will not renew it.
On the New Orleans team, Thomas, 32, played three games and scored 7.7 points on average in 16 minutes and had 1.7 assists.
The former All-Star participant last appeared on the NBA court on February 4, 2020, prior to his contract with the Pelicans.
