The entire complex speaks of the accesses to the workshops of the artist from Palanga Vytautas Kusas. After all, the truest egg tree grows here. Several hundred eggs are already swinging on its branches and new ones appear every day. They are hung by passersby.

“Here is going to turn around who is in the chair, who is getting on the table – taxi. And today special children came with my grandmother, they took a look, they hung up, with pleasure. They were two girls, at first they They scared, I say, don’t be afraid, go, take it, hang it up ”, says the artist.

The Easter atmosphere prevails in the workshop itself. Every year, during this spring and celebration of life, the artist creates various beauties from eggshells for his pleasure and to please the eyes of TV3 viewers. Here is one of them.

“Jug. Egg decanter. Have you seen – no. Have you seen? – No. – No. I have a portion of ice cream that is being built in the museum by those who attend and say the word no. Look. It’s a normal jug, I think it’s a great achievement for me. “

As something in the graphic flies, a man is building a metal cup and an eggshell next to it.

“I was looking for a glass, to install a real glass. Here it is too. There was a cup here, half and that’s it ”, explains V. Kusas.

And so that the guest did not sit by the jug and cup for a long time, the artist also built a more authentic real clock made of ostrich egg:

“Have you ever seen a watch like this? He will do it “.

Although the theme of Vytautas’s works is mostly dedicated to a celebration, this time the man dedicated most of his works to his family.

“My daughters, my wife and my daughters have long hair, so for the first time I made hair clips. – And here’s the eggshell? – Maybe get up and try? No, nu… No, the plastic is here. “Well, make sure you don’t leave any fake news.”

Still, the artist’s wife will receive the two most impressive works. Only she doesn’t know yet.

“Well the ladies did too. Here is the egg, everywhere. Here, everywhere, an egg is an egg on that surface. And it is not just anyone, but it is … (opens the ring, and there, the watch) And here will be a gift “.

And here is another gift for the wife. Pendant made with two decorated eggshells. They are held together by magnets.

“It just came to our knowledge then. Irgi. She can use Kusienė as much as such. She can put something inside. Or … Oh well, maybe not here? But then you erase it.”

Vytautas will never forget your wedding. They happened 29 years ago. So, when creating this egg verb, the artist also used his wife’s bridal bouquet.

“I kept that bouquet here in the workshop. This year I was already preparing to wear it outside and then that striped dashuto appears – wait, and what do we have it for, although I can do a verb ”, says the artist.

Well, at dusk Vytautas lights multi-colored lamps. Some light up the hallway and others the puppy museum here. The covers of all these lamps were also made by the artist from intricately carved eggshells.
