He also stated that President Gitanas Nausėda had discussed vaccination with the mayors of Vilnius, Kaunas Remigijus Šimašas and Visvaldas Matijošaitis, as well as with the head of the Association of Municipalities and the mayor of the Jonava district, Mindaugas Sinkevičius.

S. Krėpšta could not name how many municipalities plan to vaccinate on the holiday weekend, but urged them to do so, because vaccination “brings us closer to a freer social and economic life.”
