The disaster happened on Wednesday morning in Plungė. The website “15min.lt” reports that a 31-year-old man fell from the roof of a five-story house.
The basketball player, who was born in 1989, became the champion of the Regional Basketball League (RKL) in 2012 with Olimp.
After the win in 2012, the 195 cm tall heavyweight forward competed on the Telšiai and Kuršėnai RKL teams, and for the past four seasons he again defended Olympus’ honor.
Last season Jakštas RKL had 12.7 points in 30 minutes, recovered 7.7 points and had 12.7 profit points.
The brother of the late Rolandas is also a professional basketball player representing the Lithuanian “gold” youth team, whose leader was Jonas Valančiūnas.
