On Friday evening, border guards working at Kaunas airport received a report from airport services about the incident at the arrivals terminal.

Among the passengers who flew in from Dublin, the Irish capital, was a suspected drunk man. A 40-year-old resident of the Kėdainiai district clung to people, made noise, floated and behaved inappropriately. In addition, he did not meet the SBGS officers’ requirements to calm down, so the aggressive passenger was handcuffed and detained by border guards.

The man was then taken to the SBGS office. Shortly after, the detainees handed the detainee over to the Kaunas police who arrived at the airport, who will investigate the incident.
