As i wrote before 15 minutes, Monika Šalčiūtė was held administratively responsible because she did not submit data on individual activities to the State Tax Inspectorate from 2017 to 2019 and did not follow the instructions to submit them.
The first hearing was to take place remotely via the Zoom platform on March 2, but how 15 minutes confirmed by a judicial representative, M.Šalčiūtė herself did not appear in it, so the hearing of the case was postponed. According to the representative, the court summons was sent to the girl by email, but when she did not respond, the question was raised whether M. Šalčiūt was informed about the place, time and date of the court hearing.
The meeting was postponed until Monday, March 29. Judge Viktorija Šelmelme reported that the social media star did not appear this time and did not join the trial. Finally, at the last second, the judge received an email from Monika Šalčiūtė, in which she presented her version of events.
In the letter, the social media star reported on the situation after hearing from the press and not even realizing he was in trouble.
“Maybe I didn’t get it right there, but I saw in the press that an article was written about me. After reading a bit, I understood what it was about that the statement was not completed correctly,” Monika noted.

“I do not want a fine, so I want to inform you that I am not hiding, I can go somewhere where I need it, I am not infected with the virus and I can take a test,” Monika Šalčiūtė wrote in a letter. to the representatives of the court.
He also wrote asking not to hold a court hearing during the Zoom conference, but the judge in the case Viktorija Šelmelmė emphasized that currently, although the quarantine is still extended in Lithuania, there is no other possibility of holding hearings. This request from M.Šalčiūtė was rejected.
The Chief Specialist of the State Tax Inspectorate (STI) Jonas Osteris also participated in the court hearing, who complied with M.Šalčiūtė’s request to postpone the hearing. It was also justified by the judge in the case, who stated that to examine the current situation, she also has questions.
The session is adjourned until April 12.
According to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Lithuania, these minor offenses are subject to a fine of 80 to 780 euros.
