The Interior Minister reminded residents that the situation in Lithuania remains very serious and emphasized that movement restrictions should apply to everyone.

Police announced Sunday morning that they are clarifying the situation regarding the MAMA awards.
“Due to the MAMA awards event held yesterday in Kaunas, Žalgiris Arena, the Kaunas Police have started to clarify the circumstances, all the collected material will be evaluated and decisions will be made. Thank you all for your citizenship, “wrote the Lithuanian police on Facebook.
Ramūnas Matonis, Chief of the Police Department’s Communication Department, said his Kaunas police received around 30 reports of possible rapes at the event on Saturday.
“All the circumstances will be reviewed and it will be determined what violations there were, who violated them, and then there will be different decisions,” R. Matonis told BNS.
