Only nominees were invited to this year’s awards ceremony due to the limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were no spectators.

Seimas Justas member Džiugelis also expressed his position.
“The cynicism of the organizers of tonight’s MAMA and the proud participants is incomprehensible. I expect a quick and strict response from the responsible authorities,” he wrote on his Facebook account.
