These requirements do not apply to crew and crew members carrying passengers on international routes in all types of vehicles, if they return to or arrive in the Republic of Lithuania on scheduled, special and charter passenger routes in all modes of transport. .

The isolation rules updated on Friday have clarified the isolation exception for seafarers. From now on, only seafarers, crew members carrying passengers on international routes, will have to isolate themselves.

Another important change in isolation rules is that categories of workers from affected countries, who are subject to improved communicable disease control measures, will be able to isolate themselves in the same apartment or house with non-traveling family members. It will not be necessary to isolate the families of these workers.

The list of affected countries is published every Friday, takes effect on Monday, and is valid for one week.
