Vilerbano’s ASVEL (12/18) have already withdrawn from the fight for the Euroleague playoffs, while Real Madrid (18/13) urgently needed victory to maintain their eighth position.

Gabriel Deck added one penalty, while N. Cole added both (71:72), so Vilerban’s team held the odds. The penalty shoot-out continued, with T. Thompkins passing the test, and after the break ASVEL did not put up an accurate attack, although he had a chance.
