Waffle day is worth mentioning

Brigita Baratinskaitė, head of Maxima’s Food Production Department, warns that the period of the pandemic has led most compatriots to be more active in experimentation in the kitchen.

“People’s attitudes towards food production are changing; the pandemic has revealed to most that these activities can help calm their thoughts. Thus, compatriots who never thought of making desserts such as Belgian waffles at home, today they decide with more courage to try these recipes in their kitchens ”, says B. Baratinskaitė.

A food production expert ensures that people with home waffle irons can try a different variation of the recipe each time. In addition, it sets a couple of key rules to ensure an enjoyable waffle-making experience for both novice and seasoned chefs in the home kitchen.

“First of all, there was probably a problem in the kitchen when the baked waffles couldn’t be pulled out of the pan well – this could be due to too little oil or butter, so it’s important not to be afraid of these fats when making waffles. . dough. In addition, all the ingredients must be at room temperature, this will facilitate the mixing of the dough, avoiding the formation of lumps. At the beginning, it is advisable to gently mix all the liquid ingredients and only then mix them with the flour mixture “, advises B. Baratinskaitė.

The food expert shares simple yet special flavored waffle recipes that will be perfect in place of dessert or even change up today’s dinner plans.
