It is suspected that, following instructions from the head of the company, in accordance with a preconceived criminal plan to involve company employees in order to avoid taxes, part of the frozen kebab meat products bought from Polish companies was intentionally excluded from company accounts, such as Polish suppliers, bilateral agreement, part of the frozen products could be brought to Lithuania without invoices.
The aforementioned frozen meat products are suspected of having been sold to catering companies operating in Lithuania and the funds received may not have been accounted for.
A few days ago in Klaipėda, Kaunas and Vilnius, in order to find relevant documents for the investigation and money not accounted for in the accounting, 26 searches were carried out at the company’s premises, suspects’ residences, cars and commercial places, 14 of them. in Klaipėda county, residential and corporate premises.

Approximately 50 police officers from Klaipeda and Kaunas participated in the search.
The investigation identified six alleged pre-trial detainees who had been notified of reports of suspicions.
