When Justina went to choose paint, she found that she couldn’t find the paint she wanted with light – deep green is popular in England this year.
“But the store itself was mixing green paint with almost 150 shades. I bought mixed paint that looked appropriate, but as soon as I tried to paint, I saw that the color was tragic.” I took a taxi and rushed to buy another painting! The color matched this time. The process was straightforward: she washed the cabinets, painted with two coats of paint, and was pleased with the result, but accidentally spilled water left marks right away.
“Then I rushed back to the store to get varnish. Most importantly, I chose a matte paint shade, so I needed a matte varnish. The end result was really gratifying. Although I have not had to do any repairs before, I have nothing to do with art and creativity, but I am happy with the changes in the kitchen. Encouraged by my sister, I uploaded my kitchen update to the “Before and After” Facebook group and couldn’t believe I was only getting positive feedback.

After painting the walls and cabinets, Justina says she sees that she wants more changes. So it all ended with a call to his brother, who asked him to put in new flooring, tile, and finally chose a new board and updated his appliances.

She jokes that her son especially enjoyed the repairs because he could eat pizza every day while the electrical work was being done.
Justina remembers that the English craftsman who helped with the electrical installation said that he saw such a green kitchen for the first time, and at work everyone was surprised to hear that Justina was doing the repairs herself and painting everything else green.
