According to the Electricity Distribution Operator (ESO), the incident occurred on March 19, around 3 pm, when a fire broke out on suspicion of intentional actions by outsiders. The company passed the information on to the police.

A total of 15 underground cables leaving the transformer substation were damaged; around 4.7 thousand were without electricity. customers.

To eliminate the effects of the fire as soon as possible, the company immediately mobilized maximum force. A total of 17 generators were used to power the transformers.

The works were complicated by the fact that the 6 kV network, which supplies only a small part of the city’s network (the entire other network is 10 kV), was damaged. As a result, the ability to recover supplies from reserve sources has been severely limited.

Customers were informed of the outage and expected recovery times.

ESO once again apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks customers for understanding.
