The new procedure provides the opportunity to find contractors who will do the job cheaper and faster themselves, if they meet the established requirements and have the necessary skills and experience.
Consumers will also be able to organize the installation of the electrical distribution networks required for their needs, if they meet the established conditions, have projects prepared according to the connection conditions issued by the distribution network operator, the newly connected power will exceed the 500 kW and the Contractor will pay more than 10 percent less than the contractor selected by the operator. This will allow greater flexibility in carrying out work without waiting for the distribution network operator to do it.
Likewise, in order to adequately regulate the reserved capacities in the electricity networks, the period of validity of the distribution network operator’s project has been set (now undefined). The project is expected to be valid for 1 year after coordination with the distribution network operator or while the connection service contract is valid.
