The Šilutė people had still reduced the deficit to single digits, but Thomas scored points below the basket, Edvinas Šeškus added two points and the end of the match was clear: Jonava’s team led 88:74.

Šilutė’s defeat was further compounded by the trauma of Valdas Vasylius. The forward was forced to leave the pitch in the middle of the second half and was taken to hospital.
