Laimonas Čiakas, Director of the National Land Service of the Ministry of Agriculture (NŽT), made decisions regarding the land parcels located in Bieliūnų str. 5, Bieliūnų str. 9 and Perkūnkiemio st. 22, Vilnius, for public collection needs. These lands are necessary for the construction of a preschool educational institution in Vilnius, a residential district of Perkūnkiemis.
The decision to take these private plots for the needs of society will help to solve the extremely delicate problem of the lack of pre-school educational institutions in Vilnius in specially built intensively and rapidly expanding residential neighborhoods.
Following the decisions of the Director of the National Land Service on the taking of plots for public needs, the procedures regulated in Chapter VIII of the Land Law of the Republic of Lithuania will continue to be applied. The Vilnius City Municipality will have to apply to the court for permission to seize parcels (9 Bieliūn y Street and 22 Perkūnkiemio Street) for public needs, as no agreements have been concluded with the owners of these parcels regarding the acquisition of land for public needs. . The Vilnius City Municipality will settle the accounts with the owners of land taken for public needs and the land will be registered in the Real Estate Register on behalf of the state. After preparing the land cadastre data files according to the detailed plan solutions, the National Land Service will make the decision to merge the land parcels in Bieliūnų str. 5 and Bieliūnų str. 9. After that, the land parcels will be transferred to the Vilnius City Municipality by the right of trust or the right of use only for the purposes for which these land parcels were taken for public needs.
The National Land Service is a state institution that, in accordance with the procedure established by law, makes the decisions to take the necessary plots for the needs of society.
