Nelly Paltinien’s husband mentions when and where the funeral of the legendary singer will take place, who died in February.

Nelly Paltinienė (February 16, 1929 – February 29, 2020), who returned from Germany at the urn more than a week ago and stayed at the Bernardine Church in Vilnius, will remain at the Artist’s Hill in Antakalnis for June 23. This is what the late husband Arvydas Paltinas reported.

The priest Arūnas Peškaitis, a close friend of N. Paltinienė, gave Delfi even more detailed details.

The process took so long due to limited opportunities for N. Paltinienė’s husband to come to Lithuania. Well, the remains of a woman were brought to our country from Germany in early May.

A. Peškaitis had told Delfi that only the relatives of N. Paltinienė know where the urn has been kept so far.

Delfi recalls that N. Paltinienė died on February 29 in Germany. His remains will be buried in the Artists’ Hill, Antakalnis Cemetery, Vilnius.
