Nelly Paltinienė (February 16, 1929 – February 29, 2020), who returned from Germany at the urn more than a week ago and stayed at the Bernardine Church in Vilnius, will remain at the Artist’s Hill in Antakalnis for June 23. This is what the late husband Arvydas Paltinas reported.

Today my friend Arvydas flies to Vilnius from Mannheim to Vilnius, where he will prepare for the funeral of his beloved wife, ”announced V. Mačiulis.

The priest Arūnas Peškaitis, a close friend of N. Paltinienė, gave Delfi even more detailed details.

According to him, the bulls will be held at the Bernardine Church on June 23 at 9 a.m. at 12 p.m. 12 p.m. Mass will take place, and after mass the urn will be transported to the Artists’ Hill.

The process took so long due to limited opportunities for N. Paltinienė’s husband to come to Lithuania. Well, the remains of a woman were brought to our country from Germany in early May.

Previously, priest Delfi A. Peškaitis announced about A. Paltinas’ already planned flight.

“Arvydas Paltinas should come this month. Exactly when it is still unclear. The funeral date will be announced later. Of course, the funeral will definitely take place before the end of the month,” said the priest.

A. Peškaitis had told Delfi that only the relatives of N. Paltinienė know where the urn has been kept so far.

“The remains are already in Lithuania, but where the urn is kept, something very private. The relatives do not really want publicity until the date of the funeral is announced. First, Arvydas from Germany has to come to Lithuania and then it will be possible to think about an appointment, but still cannot come, “said the interlocutor.

Delfi recalls that N. Paltinienė died on February 29 in Germany. His remains will be buried in the Artists’ Hill, Antakalnis Cemetery, Vilnius.
