Everyone who wants to participate in the contest is invited to join at delfi.lt/media/istorijos-zinovas/ starting at 12:00. Lithuanian time. Contestants will receive a 30-question interactive quiz with optional answers to be completed in 45 minutes.
The contestants’ results will be judged based on the number of questions correctly answered and the points obtained. The best performing participants of the competition will be rewarded with the gratitude of “Expert in History of Lithuania” and the prizes established by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. You do not plan to enter the competition, but you are curious and want to put your historical knowledge to the test. This year, for the seventh time, the national competition “Lithuanian History Expert” initiated by the Association of Lithuanian History Teachers is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the defense of the restored independence of Lithuania.
We invite all citizens and residents of the Republic of Lithuania, students from grades 5 to 12, students of Lithuanian higher education institutions and Lithuanians abroad to participate in the competition. Historians, history teachers and history students are invited to participate in the contest from 1:00 p.m.
