At the meeting of the Council of Experts it was decided to present proposals for the opening of points of sale. The final control requirements for the trading venues will be discussed with the trade representatives in the near future, ”Rasa Jakilaitienė told BNS on Monday evening.
According to her, these proposals will be presented in more detail at a press conference on Tuesday.
As R. Jakilaitienė said, the experts also considered the possible release from quarantine conditions during the Easter period, but did not make a decision.
“No launch decisions have been made during Easter, because it is too early to do so.” The situation may change in a few days, so it is advisable to postpone the decisions for a later period, just before Easter, and have take into account the epidemiological situation at that time, “he said.
Restrictions on the second quarantine in the country have been in place since November, then tightened and movement controls between municipalities were introduced in mid-December.
At the end of February, the government extended the quarantine until the end of March and the control of movement between municipalities until mid-March, except for ring municipalities.
In early February, hairdressers, beauty salons and non-food stores were allowed to work with some restrictions.
